What CircleRate is for
CircleRate shows circle rates published by state governments across India, along with calculators and guides to help you understand them. Everything on the site is for general information and is free to use. You don't need an account.
We are an independent website. We are not part of any government department, and we are not a broker, builder, lawyer or tax adviser.
How accurate the information is
We take our rates from official government lists and check them carefully. Even so, we can't promise that every figure is complete, up to date or free of mistakes. Rates can change, and the value of a particular property can also depend on things like floor, age of the building or road facing.
Before you pay stamp duty or make any decision, confirm the rate with the Sub-Registrar office or the official source. If our figure ever differs from the official list, the official list is what counts. Our disclaimer explains this in more detail and is part of these terms.
Calculators and guides
Our calculators give estimates based on the figures you enter and the general rules for each state. They don't replace a valuation, a legal opinion or advice from a chartered accountant. Our guides explain the rules in simple words, but they are not legal or tax advice.
Using our content
Circle rates themselves are public information published by the government. The way we have organised them, our area names and descriptions, zone by zone tables, page text, guides, design and tools are our own work, and we own the rights in them.
- You can quote a short part of a page, with a link back to that page.
- You can share links to any page freely.
- Please don't copy whole pages, guides or our data in bulk, and don't republish them as your own, without our written permission.
Using CircleRate data in apps, AI tools and datasets
You are free to read our pages, share them and quote a few lines with a link back.
Putting official rates together zone by zone, with clean area names and tables, takes a lot of work. So some uses need our written permission first:
- copying our rates, zones or area lists in bulk, whether by hand, script or any other tool
- using our data to build another website, app, API, database or dataset
- training, fine tuning or testing an AI model on our pages or data
- running an AI tool or service that lets its users pull our data in bulk
We reserve all text and data mining rights in our content. If you would like to use our data in any of these ways, email us at [email protected] with a few lines about your project, and we will get back to you about a licence.
Fair use of the site
Please don't do anything that harms the site or other users. Don't use automated tools to copy pages, rates or data from the site, except as allowed in the section above. Don't try to break into or overload our systems, or use the site for anything illegal. We may block any visitor or network that does.
Links to other websites
Some pages may link to other websites, including government websites. We don't control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, CircleRate and its team are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its information, including any extra stamp duty, penalty or tax. You use the site at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
